Meeting with your personal guide and drive for a Moscow city tour by transport: Discover the Red Square, St. Basil Cathedral, the GUM supermarket, the Kremlin, the Bolshoy theatre, Tverskaya Street, and the Sparrow mountain ("Vorobyevi Gory") with its superb view over Moscow and finally the view of the Novodevichy convent.   

Free time for lunch, then guided tour of the Tretyakov Gallery: Housed in the private mansion of collector Pavel Tretyakov, in the heart of the picturesque Moscow district of "Zamoskvorietchié", the "Tretyakova" gathers the most important collection of Russian art and icons in the world and covers the history of Russia in the 11th and 20th centuries.

Free time in the morning for a personnal discovery of the capital (Option: guided tour of the Izmailovsky flea market and its colored kremlin). Free time for lunch. 

Meeting with you guide for a tour of the Kremlin (territory and cathedrals): Former residence of the tsars, the largest and most famous fortress in the country, the Kremlin is a complex of palaces and cathedrals, the oldest of which date back to the 16th century. Its walls also house the tombs of 47 tsars as well as many curiosities.

In the evening, transfer to the train station to take your night train to St-Petersburg (supplement of 80€/pers. for travelling in 1st class - train compartment of two people) . Departure time to be determined according to train schedules.

Listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, it contains best-known works of art of the great masters who represent  Dutch, Italian, Flemish, and Spanish schools. You will be amazed by the rich collections and by the magnificence of the palace itself.

In summer, a guided tour of the Peterhof Palace: Very impressed by the splendour of the French court, Peter the Great installed his Russian Versailles on the edge of the Baltic Sea to mark his victory over the Swedes. A long canal connected to the Gulf of Finland allowed the guests to reach the palace by boat, admiring the great waterfall, this wonderful set of fountains, water jets and sculptures that still function from mid-May to September. 

In winter, guided tour of the Pushkin Palace: Renamed "Pushkin" after the Revolution, the city of Tsarskoye Selo houses the splendid Catherine Palace, and the Alexander Palace built by Catherine II on the occasion of the wedding of her grandson. You will appreciate the beauty of the buildings, the interiors and the gardens. (Optional: guided tour of the Pavlovsk Palace, famous for its interiors and the beauty of its English garden).

Departure for a guided tour of St. Isaac Cathedral and St. Savior on the Spilled Blood Cathedral (with a breathtaking climb to its collonade). The Orthodox Cathedral of St-Isaac, built in the nineteenth century under the reigns of Alexander I, Nicholas I, and Alexander II, had remained the center of religious life in St-Petersburg until the Revolution. The third-largest cathedral in Europe, it has a magnificent view of the city and of the Neva river from its main dome  which is 102 meters high. 

Built by Alexander III on the spot where his father, Alexander II, was murdered in 1881, St. Savior on the Spilled Blood Cathedral was constructed in  Neo-Russian style. Along with St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, the St. Savior on the Spilled Blood Cathedral is one of the most picturesque and most visited museums in St. Petersburg today.

TERMS OF SALE

. Deposit of 30% of the total amount of the tour when booking it

. The rest of amount (70%) 45 days before departure

. The order of the visits may be modified according to the confirmation of the touristic sites or for any other technical reasons

. Non-contractual photos

. In case of a delay in the delivery of baggage at the airport, and according to the Warsaw Convention, the recipient (the passenger) must personally send a written protest to the actual carrier (the company operating the flight, which may be different from the company selling the ticket in the case of a code-share flight) within 21 days from the day on which the baggage was placed at his disposal.

CANCELLATION POLICY

. If the cancellation occurs more than 45 days before your departure, the cancellation fee is 15% of the total amount of the trip.

. Between 45 days and 31 days before departure, it amounts 30% of the total amount of the trip.

. Between 30 days and 15 days, it amounts 50%.

. Between 14 days and 8 days, it amounts 75%.

. If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days before departure, the cancellation fee is 100% of the total amount.

Special cases: 100% cancellation fee may be applied upon registration on certain services, including, unless otherwise stated, on all plane tickets, train tickets and show tickets. These charges are calculated in addition to the general cancellation fee.

LIABILITY

The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302 and Article L.211-2 II of the Tourism Code. You will therefore benefit from all the rights granted to packages. Tsar Voyages will be responsible for the proper execution of the package as a whole. In addition, Tsar Voyages has a protection in order to refund your payments and, if the transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in case it becomes insolvent.

Please note that Tsar Voyages cannot be held responsible for the following events: 

. Consequences of unforeseeable or unavoidable events of a third party such as: wars, political unrest, strikes, riots, technical or administrative incidents outside Tsar Voyages, airspace congestion, bad weather, delays (including in the dispatch of mail...), breakdowns, loss or theft of luggage or other personal effects of travellers. 

. Cancellation imposed by exceptional and unavoidable circumstances, for reasons related to the maintenance of the security of the travellers, for injunction of an administrative authority: in this case, Tsar Voyages reserves the right to modify the dates, schedules or routes planned in order to ensure the security of the travellers, without any possible recourse.

. The person making the registration in the name and on behalf of all the participants in the trip undertakes to transmit to each traveller the information provided concerning the trip so that Tsar Voyages cannot be held responsible for any defect or omission in the transmission of this information.
